heater box into a series III.  I&#39;m tempted more and more to be creative and since finding RHD series parts are few and far between on this side of the

			<title><![CDATA[ Head Gasket Torque Question? ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;m replacing the head gasket on my &#39;81 2.25 109 petrol, using one of them new fangled composite gaskets.  My ancient bible only states to torque to 65
ft/lbs, but the book dates from the time of copper gaskets.  I assume the composite gasket gets torqued to the same 65 ft/lbs?

			<description><![CDATA[ Took it to the Midas shop for and estimate and they said they couldn&#39;t run 2&quot; all the way to the manifold because the flange is too small.  Never
heard anything about that - I have an extra manifold and it looks tight but possible.  The estimate was way high so going to keep looking, but just wanted to
know if you can run 2&quot; all the way up.

  I just spotted an ad on LRX for a high compression head and I&#39;m in the market for an overhaul on my 8:1. The price looks pretty good for valves, guides
and seals already installed. He stated the head was shaved 65000ths is that too much for the thermostat housing to clear? I&#39;d have to ship it across the
country from Oregon to Tennessee but if i sounds like it might be an economical way to go if it will fit. I really don&#39;t know much about heads so any

the problem. The one from British Pacific does not fit. I want to cover that ugly assed area up and deaden the noise. I&#39;m sure a few have been down this

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;m looking to purchase a Rochester carburetor for the 1960 Series II SWB pickup to replace the original Solex.  Some of the Rochester information in the
Tech section is now missing contains a string of blank posts.  Please post up if you have the year and model or part number that&#39;s supposed to be used on
the 2.25L.  I think I recall that it was a Chevy 235 six cylinder, but can&#39;t recall the year.

			<description><![CDATA[ I copied this tool from an aviation tool catalog.  See, I&#39;m too cheap to buy the 2-bolt and 3-bolt anchor assemblies that fasten the wings to the radiator
support panel (breakfast), so I just use 1/4-20 individual stainless bolts/nuts.  Trouble is that it&#39;s a real pain to get the loose bolts down between the
wing and rad support and through their respective holes.  This tool works perfectly for this and many other jobs (I just used it tonight to help install the

I just finished setting up a military fuel tank under the driver&#39;s seat (LHD Series 3 88&quot;).  I have a set of fitting instructions but hooking up the
electrical wiring to the switches on top of the change-over valve is not that clear to me.

I have one wire running from the new tank under the driver&#39;s seat to the left male connection of the left hand switch that sits on top of the change-over
