Water pump weep hole

While I had the front timing cover off, I noticed coolant coming from the water pump's weep hole. This was while the timing cover was laying on the bench in a horizontal position. The water pump did not leak prior to removal.

Is it time to R&R the pump or replace it?

It's a military pump (7-bolt), can I trust the RN proline pump?

I am in the airport leaving Vancouver, Canada - eh? I took a walk in the woods yesterday for some exercise. This was on Cypress Mountain - future home to the snowboard half pipe and freestyle ski events. This was my last trip out here for this project - the games are on thier own from now on....

heater cores

I am going to build my own heater for my truck....I know there are better solutions out there like buying a complete ready to install unit or a used Kodiak, etc....but as I have modified my bulkhead to fit the V8 not everything will fit as it once did. I want ot keep the heater as trim as possible and not take up the already small passenger footwell like the later kodiaks do..I also like the challenge of building it myself.. So I am looking for the Largest heater core I can find....so far...

Where to find metal shop stool

I want to get a metal stool for my workbench in the basement of the house. I have looked on Harbor Freight and can not seem to find one.

I would prefer to get one with back support if possible.

I want to use it for cleaning the guns, light fly tying, and small projects I take down there.

Does anyone know a source?

What to do on a day off with an old hay wagon and Land Rover

First you grab the old hay wagon from the corner of the field. Then you finish cleaning up most of the elm that was taken down a couple of weeks ago.

Actually this is to put to rest any doubt that Rusty is running. Amazing what these little guys will pull.

And here is what not to hit with your chainsaw as you take down the stump in pieces...

And I didn't even get to shoot it. An old truck hit it in front of the shop this afternoon. Didn't get banged up too bad. The pups enjoyed the heart. Anyway, one in the freezer and 12 tags to fill still. It's going to be a fun fall!

I had an MRI a few weeks ago..........

I have a detached tendon & torn rotater cuff in my left shoulder.

Yup!
it needs to be reattached arthopainfully &
I shouldnt move it for a month, as my arm will be in a sling...........

small or light movement will only make healing slower.......

OH, boy!

I have been watching the SY-FY channel's show sanctuary. This first new one had Dr. Mangus in a series II/IIA 88 and last week the new female character (can't remember her name) was in a yellow D-90. I wonder who's trucks these were?

I finally made it out the the "lake house" in the desert. OK, kind of a contradiction.
Neighbor used to have a gun shop out in the Mojave, and he had some stuff in the garage he gave to me.
Here are the extra reloading dies that I have if anyone needs one.
I'm hoping they go to good homes for guys that really need them to use.

I am sure that everyone on this site has seen the movie at least once. I would like to know what the little yellow rig that Mpoudi used to pull the Anti-Christ home with is? I am sure that it isn't a Rover and it looks like it used to be a forklift or tractor. This isn't overly important but I've always wondered about it every time I have seen the movie. Let me know if any of you guies have any ideas.

This is a present to myself for just about completing a year-long, laborious project. Really like this thing - can't wait to add a rooftop tent and a few other subtle additions. Eventually I hope to see it carrying a new frame home for one of my less fortunate Rovers...

My clevis pin is too small on the Rover for the giant lunette, so for the time being it rides on the Toyota...

No carb has frustrated me more than this one. A brief chat with two with a fair bit of knowledge with these isn't encouraging either. One says(he sells them) good ones are OK, but many have the problem I am having; stutter on throttle, without success in curing it. The other guy says pitch it. There's a brief bit of black smoke when I give it normal pedal, but it accelerates fine with light throttle. That tells me the accelerator pump is over gassing. I've had it fully apart and...
